Summer Camps

Old Dominion University: ODU Summer Camps for boys and girls grades 2nd-10th. Develops youth, strengthens and supports families and creates health and wellness for all. Different themes every week. June and July weekly camp opportunities.

VCU Summer Programs

VCU offers summer programs for rising 1st-9th graders. Lobs & Lessons camps offer tennis, swimming, outdoor adventure games and healthy lifestyle activities.

Camp Corral

Golden Corral advertises many overnight camp sessions and family camp retreats at locations across the United States. These one week free camps are open to ages 8-15 for children of families with fallen, wounded, or disabled veterans or service members.

Camp Too Sweet

This camp is for kids ages 8-16 who have Type I or Type 2 diabetes. This week-long summer program teaches young people with diabetes the self-management skills that they need to take care of themselves.

Children’s Museum of Richmond Summer Camps

Experience the arts, science, reading, music and more with these camps geared for children ages 2-12 years old. There are various site locations including: Richmond Central, Short Pump and Chesterfield.

Virtual Camps and Summer Opportunities with iD Tech

This is for kids 7 and up and includes Game Design, Web Design, and Programming! They have something for all children! Currently they are doing virtual private lessons, group lessons, online courses, and structured weeklong camp-style sessions at Marymount University.
